Highlights

  • Designed reusable modules for hero, badges, and offer sections—reducing production time and supporting consistent, scalable campaign builds.
  • Applied accessibility-first principles across all emails, including improved color contrast, hierarchical typography, and meaningful alt text.
  • Optimized all GIFs and hero animations for deliverability (<5MB) while maintaining visual fidelity across devices.
  • Ran iterative A/B tests on headlines, CTAs, and content hierarchy to improve engagement and click-through behavior.
  • Strengthened visual storytelling through a cohesive layout system that balanced product education with lifestyle imagery.

Approach

The legacy Hot Deals layout was dense, product-heavy, and difficult to scan — especially on mobile. The content blocks lacked hierarchy, spacing, and a clear entry point, which made it harder for users to quickly understand the value.

To modernize the experience, I redesigned the module system using stronger visual hierarchy, improved spacing, and a simplified editorial flow. The new layout uses clearer grouping, more consistent typography, and a cleaner narrative path from hero → offer → product lineup. This helped highlight key deals faster while keeping the overall experience polished and on-brand.

What moved the needle

  • Strengthened value props with short, placement-specific copy that made each module easier to scan and act on.
  • Established a consistent CTA framework that improved clarity and helped users quickly understand the offer.
  • Created a repeatable visual rhythm — headline → product → offer — giving every email a clear narrative flow.
  • Introduced lightweight motion and hero animations to bring energy to launches and highlight key product features.
  • Refined product imagery, spacing, and color balance to create cleaner, more premium-feeling sections that elevated perceived value.
