The challenge

The challenge behind the system

Premier Financial Alliance (PFA) is a national financial organization that hosts large-scale conventions centered on education, leadership, recognition, and community. Recurring events required a visual system that could support distinct annual themes while keeping PFA recognizable across environmental graphics, credentials, presentations, marketing materials, and merchandise.

My role and collaboration

My role focused on developing the event identity and supporting visual system, then extending it across practical applications. I collaborated with PFA stakeholders and production partners to translate event concepts into clear, repeatable assets without suggesting that the full corporate brand was redesigned.

The strategy

A repeatable event system

The system was designed to replace isolated event assets with a clearer set of rules that could be reused and adapted. Shared typography, color relationships, hierarchy, and layout patterns created continuity across PFA communications, while event-specific themes could introduce fresh imagery and messaging each year.

This approach balanced two needs: the credibility expected from a financial organization and the energy of a large recognition-driven convention. It also made the work easier to extend across multiple teams, vendors, audience types, and physical or digital formats.

01

Shared visual rules

Typography, color relationships, hierarchy, and layout patterns created continuity.

02

Event-specific expression

Fresh imagery and messaging could change each year without losing recognition.

03

Multi-format application

The system extended across teams, vendors, audiences, and physical or digital formats.

04

Production consistency

Repeatable rules reduced the need to rebuild every touchpoint from scratch.

Execution

The system in practice

These applications show how the same event identity could move from promotion to the physical attendee experience while maintaining a consistent hierarchy and recognizable visual language.

OUTCOME

Established a repeatable event identity framework that improved consistency across teams, vendors, and event applications. The system created stronger continuity across promotion, registration, presentations, environmental graphics, and recognition materials while providing a flexible foundation for future events.

The outcome

A stronger foundation for every future event

The work established a repeatable identity framework for recurring conventions and created shared visual rules that supported more consistent production across teams and vendors. It improved continuity between promotion, registration, presentations, environmental graphics, and recognition materials, while giving future events a stronger foundation for adapting themes without rebuilding every touchpoint from scratch.

READY TO START

Does every event start from scratch?

Share where recurring events, programs, or distributed teams are creating inconsistency or production friction. I’ll review the context and identify the right starting point for a clearer, more reusable brand system.
